Rapid Rolloff Services, LLC (hereafter referred to as “Rapid Rolloff”) wants to ease the process of renting a rolloff dumpster for its customers as much as possible, which is why we have compiled this comprehensive list of questions most frequently asked by our potential customers.

WHAT COMMUNITIES DO YOU PROVIDE ROLLOFF DUMPSTER RENTAL?

Our general service area is within 35 miles of our office located in Conroe, Texas. Some of the common areas we serve regularly are: Conroe, Cleveland, Cut and Shoot, Humble, Huntsville, Magnolia, Montgomery, New Waverly, Oak Ridge North, Panorama Village, Patton Village, Porter, Spring, Splendora, Willis, The Woodlands, including Alden Bridge, Cochran’s Crossing, Creekside Park, Grogan’s Mill, Indian Springs, Sterling Ridge, and other communities within The Woodlands.

HOW DO I RENT A ROLLOFF DUMPSTER?

Renting a rolloff dumpster is an easy process. Either complete a Quote Request form or just give us a call at 281.215.5207, and we’d be happy to assist you. Rapid Rolloff will provide you with the best rolloff dumpster option based on your project specifications, the type of material you need to dispose of, the delivery address, and the anticipated rental duration. We will provide you with an accurate quote and deliver the rolloff dumpster to your job site as soon as the same day or, at the latest, the next business day.

DO I NEED A PERMIT OR A LICENSE?

You probably do not need a permit if the rolloff dumpster is going to be set on your own property; however, if you need the rolloff dumpster placed on the street or a sidewalk, you should check with your local city or county government offices and/or your Homeowner’s Association to ascertain whether you need permission for placement. Be prepared to provide them with the size, placement, and duration for which you will keep the rolloff dumpster.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO ORDER MY ROLLOFF DUMPSTER?

We always offer next-day delivery for all rolloff dumpsters and can deliver the rolloff dumpster the same day, if available. In most cases, we can accommodate same-day rental requests if received via call or text prior to 11:00 am. In all cases, we can deliver the next day. If you need your rolloff dumpster delivered urgently, please get in touch with us to discuss your project schedule! Please know that the weather can affect delivery schedules.

WHAT SIZE ROLLOFF DUMPSTERS DO YOU OFFER/CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE?

We offer four (4) popular rolloff dumpster sizes: 20, 25, 30, and 40-yard rolloff dumpsters. Please note that all rolloff dumpsters are measured in yards (3 cubic feet = 1 cubic yard). For visual reference, a cubic yard is roughly the size of two standard single kitchen cabinets. All of our rolloff dumpsters are 8 feet wide by 22 feet long (8’ x 22’). The difference in the respective sizes is in the height of the rolloff dumpster walls:

  • 20 yard (4’ high walls) and has the capacity to hold approx. 6-8 truckloads. Great size for room remodeling, attic or garage cleanout, and landscaping projects.
  • 25 yard (4.5’ high walls) and has the capacity to hold approx. 7-11 truckloads for all of the above projects and is a great choice for roof replacements.
  • 30 yard (6’ high walls) and has the capacity to hold 11-13 truckloads for a house renovation or a medium construction/renovation project.
  • 40 yard (8’ high walls) and has the capacity to hold 13-16 truckloads for a large construction or renovation project.

HOW SOON DO YOU DELIVER A ROLLOFF DUMPSTER?

WHAT IF I NEED TO HAVE MY ROLLOFF DUMPSTER REMOVED SOONER OR NEED TO KEEP IT LONGER THAN ANTICIPATED?

All changes to your order should be made as soon as possible. While there is a small additional charge for keeping the rolloff dumpster longer than the standard rental term, it is very minimal.

ARE THERE ANY MATERIALS THAT I SHOULD NOT PUT IN THE ROLLOFF DUMPSTER?

Any and all liability for disposal of hazardous waste remains with the customer. We are required by law to dispose of prohibited items/materials that have been added to your rolloff dumpster. Dumping waste is highly regulated by the government. You, as the customer, shall be responsible for not only the disposal of any prohibited items but will be assessed a fine of minimally $500 if any of the following prohibited items are disposed of in our rolloff dumpsters.

  • Aerosol Cans
  • Animals
  • Antifreeze
  • Appliances
  • Asbestos
  • Barrels
  • Car Batteries
  • Computers and/or Monitors
  • Contaminated Soils and Absorbents
  • Flammable Liquids
  • Fluorescent Bulbs or Tubes
  • Hazardous Waste (Oil, Asbestos, Chemicals, Contaminated Soils and/or Absorbents)
  • Herbicides
  • Industrial Waste
  • Medical Waste
  • Microwaves
  • Oil and/or Oil Filters
  • Old Televisions (anything containing a Cathode Ray Tube (CRT)
  • Pesticides
  • Propane Tanks
  • Radioactive Material
  • Railroad Material
  • Railroad Ties
  • Refrigerated Appliances Containing Freon (Refrigerators, Freezers, Air Conditioners, Ice Makers)

WHAT HAPPENS IF I EXCEED THE ROLLOFF DUMPSTER’S WEIGHT LIMIT?

Each rolloff dumpster has a designated weight limit which you will be advised of when renting. If you exceed the allocated weight, you will be charged the current rate for overages. Please note that we have no way of determining how much your rolloff dumpster load will weigh. All rolloff dumpster loads are weighed at the dump, and we are happy to provide a weight ticket to you upon request. In any event, our trucks cannot legally transport loads over 11 tons. If we believe that your rolloff dumpster contains excessively heavy material that will exceed our transportation limits, special 18-wheeler transport may be required. Please know that we don’t place weight limits on loads and rolloff dumpsters just to make more money from a rolloff dumpster rental. Exceeding the designated weight limits causes excessive wear and tear on our trucks and tires, may cause damage to the rolloff dumpster, and most importantly, is illegal to transport. We may be subjected to exorbitant DOT fines for transporting overweight and/or overfilled loads. If you know that your debris will be excessively heavy (such as concrete), it is best to rent the smallest-sized rolloff dumpster to facilitate legal and safe transport of the load.

WHAT DO I DO WHEN MY ROLLOFF DUMPSTER IS FULL?

Simply contact us via phone call or text, and we will schedule a time to pick up the rolloff dumpster. If you need another rolloff dumpster to replace it (also called a “swap”), let us know beforehand so that we can switch out the full rolloff dumpster with an empty one.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF I OVERFILL MY ROLLOFF DUMPSTER?

A rolloff dumpster cannot be filled above the top of the unit. If we arrive for a pick-up/swap and the rolloff dumpster is filled beyond the top, our driver will take a photo and leave without removing or replacing the rolloff dumpster. In such an event, you will be assessed a Dry-Run Fee. Please note that it is illegal to transport rolloff dumpsters that are overfilled.

It is the customer’s responsibility to make sure any debris loaded into the rolloff dumpster does not exceed the top and is removed prior to pick-up/swap. If you notice that your rolloff dumpster is filling up quicker than expected, you will need to order a swap, and we will retrieve the rolloff dumpster and place an empty one on-site for you to continue your project.

Please know that a rolloff dumpster rental does not include additional rolloff dumpsters or swaps. We will discuss pricing with you when you order your first rolloff dumpster and are happy to review pricing again with any additional rolloff dumpster rentals and/or swaps.

Please know that we do not arbitrarily enforce this rule! While it is illegal to transport, we are also subjected to very hefty fines for violation of this law.

HOW DO I MODIFY OR CANCEL AN ORDER?

Call, text, or email us with any order cancellations or modifications. If you wish to move the delivery date or cancel your order, please make sure to do so at least 24 hours in advance. We understand that unscheduled things and emergencies happen, and we will never charge our valued customers a Dry-Run Fee unless the cancellation occurs en route to or upon arrival at the delivery location.

CAN I SWITCH ROLLOFF DUMPSTER SIZES?

Absolutely! Just call, text, or email us with your modifications. We require a minimum of 3-hour notice on all size changes.

Switching a rolloff dumpster size to a smaller or larger rolloff dumpster is not a problem PRIOR to the delivery and set up of your rolloff dumpster. Once we are en route or if your rolloff dumpster is delivered, we cannot switch out sizes unless your rolloff dumpster is full and you need another rolloff dumpster of a different size. We will remove the filled rolloff dumpster and place the new size.

IS IT NECESSARY FOR ME TO BE AT HOME FOR A DELIVERY?

It is not necessary to have someone on-site at the time of set-up of your rolloff dumpster as long as we have received concise instructions for placement with either photos or directions.

If you cannot be present for a set-up of your rolloff dumpster, you can mark the location with turf paint, place a cone where you’d like it, or somehow mark the delivery spot. Please note that the area must be clear of any vehicles or other items that would prohibit or interfere with the delivery and set-up. The customer accepts all responsibility for the requested area of placement. Upon receipt of the order, the customer assumes all responsibility for such directions and represents that the area is safe for placement.

One thing you will need to consider with the placement of a rolloff dumpster is whether the ground or area that you instruct it to be placed upon is stable. For this purpose, “stable” means that the ground is dry and solid, not wet or muddy and that the concrete, asphalt, or pavement is not already damaged with cracks and/or crumbling or is already old, thin concrete with cracks. Bear in mind that our delivery trucks weigh 30,000 lbs minimally. If a surface is already damaged, further damage may occur with either delivery or retrieval, or both, of the rolloff dumpster.

WHEN DO I PAY FOR MY ROLLOFF DUMPSTER?

Unless previously agreed to, all rolloff dumpsters must be paid for in advance. Once you have paid, the two reasons for which you would incur fees is if you exceed the allotted tonnage corresponding to your rolloff dumpster size or you go over the rental term.

Please note that we do not know until we dispose of your debris how much it weighs. We will contact you if your rolloff dumpster exceeds the amount included in your rental. Should you exceed the weight limit, we will collect payment from the method provided with your rolloff dumpster rental unless you notify us otherwise. Should you exceed the number of days included in your rental, we will collect payment upon final pick-up of your rolloff dumpster via the original payment method provided.

WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept American Express, Discover, Mastercard, Visa, Paypal, personal checks, cash, and Venmo.

WILL ROLLOFF DUMPSTERS DAMAGE MY PROPERTY?

Please note that while we will take every precaution in delivering your rolloff dumpster, we rely upon our customer’s representation(s) that the area is “safe” for delivery. For example, If your driveway is very old and cracked/crumbling, please let us know upfront so that we can advise you of the risks associated with delivery and/or retrieval.
We recommend that you protect any surface where you plan to have the rolloff dumpster placed with a couple of 8′ x 8′ sheets of plywood. Please bear in mind that our delivery trucks weigh 30,000 lbs empty and require a significant amount of torque to back onto your property and deliver and retrieve the rolloff dumpster, NOT including the several tons of debris you may have loaded into the rolloff dumpster. If the ground is wet or the surface is already damaged, further damage may occur. Customer affirms that any right-of-way provided by the customer (disclosed in delivery questions) for the roll-off container is sufficient to bear the weight of all contractors’ equipment and vehicles required to perform the contracted service. The customer assumes all liabilities for damages to private driving surfaces, pavement or road surfaces and entire container placement site. Rapid Rolloff Services LLC. shall not be responsible for any damages to any private driving surface, pavement or accompanying sub-surface of any route associated to perform the service that was contracted. If there are any existing damage(s) (such as cracks/crumbling) to the driving surface(s) on your property, such as concrete, asphalt, gravel, hard pack, or any other type of surface, the customer assumes any and all liability for any damage(s) that may occur. We shall not be responsible for further damage(s) to compromised surfaces.
